This 32.32-km corridor runs from Wadala to Kasarvadavali via Ghatkopar, Mulund, Teen Hath Naka and Kapurbawdi, with the initial Thane stretch targeted for opening in 2026.
Phase 1 of this 'Orange Line' is expected to be operational by December 2026, opening up the Balkum and Kasarvadavali micro-markets to commuters.
Designed as India's first intra-city circular metro, it will link LBS Road, Wagle Estate, Kolshet and Ghodbunder Road, with construction underway and completion targeted for 2029.
